Obituary of Helen Aragona

Helen "Mary Lou" (Valore) Aragona, 85, of Vineland passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at her home. She was born in Atlantic City, November 3, 1924 and was a graduate of Atlantic City High School. Mary Lou worked as a salesclerk for the Pollyanna Card Store and Ricci's New Agency. Before her retirement she was employed as a receptionist for Cumberland County College. She was a parishioner at Divine Mercy Parish (St. Francis). Her hobby was cooking for her family and caring for her dog "Molly." She was deeply loved and will be missed by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter Donna and her husband David Fixler of Vineland; her daughter Mary Ann and her husband Kevin Kirchner of Vineland; and her son John C. Aragona of Clementon, NJ; grandchildren Peter and wife Karen Fixler, Kristin and husband John Bosacco, Kristian and wife Dina Kirchner, Megan and husband Ernie Bernhardt; great grandchildren Paisley and Isla Fixler; Giada Bosacco and Ernie Bernhardt; nephews John and Bobby D'Amico, sister-in-law Mary Aragona and other family and friends. Mary Lou was predeceased by her husband John J. Aragona and parents Gaetano and Sarah Valore. A church visitation will be held on Monday, September 20, 2010 from 10 to 11am at Divine Mercy Parish, (St. Francis) 23 West Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ followed by a funeral mass at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. ARRANGEMENTS are under the supervision of Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ 08360.
