Obituary of William R Valla Jr.

William R Valla Jr. passed away on December 12, 2019 at Jersey Shore University Hospital after an extended illness. He was born in Vineland to the late William and Mary (Tonelli) Valla. William attended Vineland High School, graduating in 1950. After high school he enlisted with the US Coast Guard and served until 1955. He worked for many years for the City of Vineland in Electric Utility in the Meter Department, until the birth of his granddaughter which prompted him to retire early, so he could spend time doting on her. William enjoyed fishing, hunting, horseracing and the casino's. He was a huge NY Yankees fan. He mostly cherished his time with his family.
