Obituary of John Edward D'Augostine

John Edward D'Augostine, 89, formally of Minotola passed away peacefully on July 23, 2012. Edward was a World War II Veteran serving as a 1st Class Petty Gunnery Officer in the U.S. Navy . He met the love of his life Joy while attendeing Gunnery School in Penisula, Florida. He was very active in Vineland baseball and was a pitcher for The Melini Bros. team, also being inducted to The Hall of Fame. Edward was an avid hunter and fisherman. He belonged to the Never Rest Gun Club and The Wheat Road Social Club. He traveled extensively with the Buena Basketball Team and loved them all like grandsons. He especially loved to travel with his wife and friends.
