I was making a special effort to contact the family of Betty to send my condolences, and to bring you some comfort from the scriptures which I found to be consoling with a wonderful hope for the future. Notice what it says in John 5:28, 29, "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out..." Also, Revelation 21:4 says, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." So this is very encouraging what God promises for the future, and in God's appointed time we will see the reality. Please visit the jw.org website for answers to many Bible questions. Again, my condolences for your loss.

Our mother Mildred Sotnychuk was a good friend of Betty's for many years. They knew each other from Chelses Title where our mom worked. Betty was a regular visitor before she her health started to deteriorate. Our mom passed in 2013. My brother Steve, sister Linda and I have fond memories of Betty. Our condolences.

I’m sorry that I was not able to attend Betty’s funeral today but wanted to extend my sincere condolences to her family. Back in the 70’s my husband and I used R & Y Realty when we purchased our home. Both Betty Yegla and Charlie Rickert were wonderful and very helpful to us. I visited Betty a few times at the Manor and although she really didn’t remember me, I was glad to see her and thank her again for the help she gave us. Betty will always be fondly remembered as a very kind remarkable woman. We were blessed to have known her. May God bless you all with His comfort and peace.
