Mr. Masucci was my favorite teacher at Saint Augustine prep. He wasn’t like the other teachers, he was down to earth. He was also my fun loving boss when I was a lifeguard at the outdoor prep pool in the mid1980s. I’ll never forget his rough tackle sport he invented called Masucci ball in the basketball gym. I’ll miss seeing him swim his laps at the YMCA, his funny stories of life in Italy. What a positive person he was, with a big warm smile. His favorite word during class was discipline, and that’s a word I’ve used throughout my life to live a certain standard. When they built you brother, they broke the mold.

I knew Tom for the entire 13 plus years I worked at Bridgeton Schools
Until I retired in 2015. He was a gentle man who worked well with children
Who had emotional/behavioral difficulties. A friendly upbeat personality who was proud of his Italian heritage and Loved his sports cars. My deepest sympathy to his extended family
In US and in Italy. He will be missed by so many in the Bridgeton School district.
RIP Tom!

Mr. Masucci was the most kind and generous person. I had the pleasure of working with him at the Dr.Geraldyn O Foster Early Childhood Center for 3 years, and he always knew how to brighten your day. I enjoyed his many stories of Italy, as well as some of his homemade wines. He will be missed dearly. Prayers for his family in this time of sadness that they may gain strength over time and be reminded of the many happy memories they shared over the years. May God Bless! Love, Jessica Vega

So sad to hear about this. He was a great man and role model to me. Me along with 3 of my sister's all had him help us in school at one point in our lives. He will definately be sorely missed but never forgotten.

You were the reason why I'm here today and how far I become. From going to your office to drawing on your chalkboard every single day just to see you. Man, it's hard to figure out your gone but all the memories you gave me will never be forgotten.

I am sincerely sorry to hear of your loss. I worked closely with Tom in 2009 and 2010 when I was the SAC counselor at the Broad St school. Tom always went above and beyond for the students. He was passionate about his job and helping the students. His beautiful and positive presence in this world will be greatly missed.
