Obituary of Anna Downey

Anna marie(Siciliano) Downey, 90, of Vineland died peacefully on December 20, 2018, surrounded by her family. Born in Landisville on April 19, 1928, Anna grew up on the family farm in landisville and worked in several local clothing factories. It was while employed at Hoover's clothing that she met Richard Downey, her future husband. Anna became employed as a cook in the cafeteria at Durand School in 1973 and remained there until her retirement in 2004. Anna was a compassionate person who, after retirement, continued to cook for the homeless at the Spirit & Truth soup kitchen.
