I am so very sorry to hear this I had no idea. We were friends in high school. Such a really nice guy. I know this comes extremely late but my condolences to his family.

I was making a special effort to contact the family of Rodney to send my condolences, and to give you some comfort from the scriptures which I found to be encouraging with a wonderful hope for the future. Notice what it says in John 5:28, 29, "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out..." Also, Revelation 21:4 says, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." So this is very encouraging what God promises for the future, and in God's appointed time we will see the reality. Please visit the jw.org website for answers to many Bible questions. Again, my condolences for your loss.

We were little kids on the school bus, one day I told Rodney I liked him and he just had this grin!! I kissed his cheek and had the sweetest crush on him!! He was the nicest guy in the neighborhood! And I can't believe I'm reading an obituary for him...
