Obituary of Frank Gambino
Frank Gambino, 96, of Minotola, went with the Lord on October 21, 2018 surrounded by his family. Frank was born in Williamstown, NJ to the late Salvatore and Stephanie Gambino. He then moved to Vineland where he became a lifelong resident and devout catholic. Frank served with US Marine Corps in WWII as a 2nd Lieutenant. After the war he began working as a salesman for US Steel in Brooklawn, NJ. Frank was also a member of St. Michael's Church in Minotola, NJ. He was also a past member of Recreation Club and also was an avid bowler. What Frank enjoyed most was the time he spent with his family, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughter, Carolyn Gambino; grandsons, Michael Wolfe Jr (Natalie Malave) and Jason Matthew Wolfe (Melissa Ferrino); great-grandchildren, Adriana, Christine, Emily, Hannah, Anthony Michael, Marc Oliver; his two sisters, Josephine Gambino and Francis Gambino. He is predeceased by his wife Rose (Formisano); son Salvatore Gambino; and his brothers Julio Gambino and Salvatore Gambino.
A church visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:15am to 11:15am followed by a funeral mass at 11:30 am from Our Lady Of The Blessed Sacrament - Church Of St. Michael, 504 West Avenue, Minotola. Final disposition will be at the convenience of the family.
