Obituary of June F Corbo

CORBO, FRANCIS "JUNE" 87 of Galloway passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, October 14th 2018 at her home. She was formerly of Millville, NJ and Saginaw, MI, and was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Dr. Joseph Corbo. June was born on January 10, 1931 to Angeline and Andrew Cook and graduated from Saginaw High School. In September 1956, she married Dr. Joseph A. Corbo. Together they had 4 children that they raised in Millville. June and Joe enjoyed traveling, spending their summers in Ocean City as well as spending time with family and friends. June was a long-time member of the Millville Woman's Club and enjoyed playing bridge, tennis, going to the casino and attending the theater with her friends. She was an avid sports fan and was thrilled to celebrate the recent Eagle's Superbowl championship and Villanova basketball national championships. June enjoyed her semi -annual trips to Saginaw to visit her sisters Delphine and Jane and relatives playing Euchre, Bingo, and going to the fish fry. June is survived by her loving family, son, Joseph Corbo Jr. (Bonnie) and his children Stephen and Caroline of Ocean City, daughter, Teresa Corbo of Mount Laurel, son, Michael Corbo of Philadelphia, son, Christopher Corbo and his children Nicholas, Joey and Anthony of Burlington, and sister, Jane Warnick of Salt Lake City. The Corbo family would like to extend our gratitude to all of her medical providers and caregivers for their loving care. A church visitation will be held on ________ from 9:00 AM -10:30 AM followed by a funeral mass at Church of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton , 603 New Jersey Avenue, Absecon with funeral services at Holy Cross Cemetery, 5061 Harding Highway, Mays Landing.
