Obituary of Ronald J Angelo

Ronald J. Angelo, 88, of Vineland, passed away surrounded by family at Inspira medical Center on September 23, 2018 after a brief illness. He served in the Korean War from 1951-1953 as a Corporal in the US Army. Ron was a successful Architect in South Jersey, opening up his own business in 1972 in Vineland, after being a draftsman for multiple architects. He was the contracted architect fro Millville Public Schools for many years, with his most recent design being Silver Run School. he also designed PAdre Pio Shrine on Route 40 in Buena, along with Giampetro Park bandstand in Vineland. Many businesses at the jersey shore were designed by him. Ron was an active member in the Elks Lodge, Kiwanis Club, South Jersey Business Association, and the Society of American Architects. Ron served on the Cumberland County Planning Board for over three decades. He contributed for many years to High School seniors in Millville and Vineland Public Schools with scholarships to pursue architecture, along with scholarships to Cumberland County College. Ron was also a 3rd Degree Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed the casinos and playing pinochle with family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
