Obituary of Alice Lisa Levi

Lisa Levi, of Vineland, passed away on September 17, 2018 at Inspira Medical Center. She was born in Gundlsheim, Germany the only child to the late Fritz and Bertha ( Strauss) Levi. She immigrated in the late 1930's to NYC with her parents and grandparents. While living in NYC she worked as a babysitter. She and her family moved to Vineland where she worked in a chicken hatchery, as a babysitter and took in summer guests to earn money. Moving on she then began working for Seabrook Farms in the office, where she learned English skills and then onto Arrow Glass where she became the bookkeeper and then Office Manager. Lisa was very open minded and strong willed. She had a heart of gold, helping everyone and never said no. She loved volunteering at the Beth Israel. She loved playing cards, listening to classical music, animals, cooking and being with her friends. She was a member of Beth Israel Congregation, Beth Israel Sisterhood, Hebrew Women's Benevolent Society, Hadassah and the SPCA.
