Obituary of Daniel Aaron Carty

Daniel Carty, 24, of Millville passed away unexpectedly on August 22. He was born April 11, 1994, the son of David and Tammy ( Holmes ) Carty. He attended Millville public schools and was a 2012 graduate of Millville High School, where he earned numerous achievements including Academic Excellence, Student of the Month, Perfect Attendance, and School Counts scholarship eligibility. Daniel formerly worked at Phoenix Glass in Pittsgrove. Daniel was an avid gamer and spent much of his time playing on a gaming PC he custom built himself. Daniel was a Philadelphia Eagles fan and enjoyed talking football with his brother David . Daniel is survived by his parents, David and Tammy (Holmes) Carty and his brother David Jr, all of Millville. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents Bill and Ruth (Riggins) Holmes, aunts Margaret Holmes and Ann Marcum, Uncles John Carty (Sherry), Ray Carty (Bonnie), Rob Carty and Bill Holmes (Tina). Daniel will be sadly missed by cousins Lauren and Derek Carty, Michaela and William Holmes, and Tony, Jessica and Joey Santangelo. Daniel was predeceased by his paternal grandparents John and Mary Carty. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rone Funeral Home in Vineland. The family will receive relatives and friends from 2 to 4 PM Thursday, August 30. Memorial service will follow at 4 PM. Interment will be private at the families discretion. In lieu of flowers, donations for funeral expenses may be made to the family care of Rone Funeral Home, 1110 E Chestnut Ave, Vineland NJ 08360.
