Obituary of Caroline Capriotti

Caroline Capriotti, 86 years young, of Vineland, passed away unexpectedly surrounded by family. Carol was born in Vineland and raised in Buena Vista Township. She graduated from Vineland High School in 1950. In 1960, together with her late husband Alvaro "Morris", they founded Capri Construction Company. She was well known for her expertise in bidding and her proficiency in government contract laws. Many a contractor would come to her to benefit from her years of experience. Carol was active in St. Mary's PTA for many years, and was a founding member of the Grandparents' Association of St. Mary's School in East Vineland. She was a charter member of the Southwest Chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction in the 1990s. Carol was well known for her entertaining, famous carrot cake and crossword puzzle prowess. She could complete the NYTimes crossword puzzle in one sitting-in pen. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and family. Although Carol had many interests, her greatest joy was doting on her loving grandchildren. Nothing would light up her face more than entering a room full of her grandkids and family. Her love of family remains her greatest legacy. She was the daughter of the late Angelo and Madeline (Traverso) Bylone of Buena Vista Township. She was predeceased by her husband Alvaro "Morris" Capriotti, and is survived by daughters Rhonda Tamburro (Russel Regalbuto) of Fort Myers, FL, and Melanie (Victor) Druziako of Vineland, and son, Arthur (Lisa) Capriotti of Buena Vista Township. She has seven grandchildren, Dennis (Melissa) Tamburro Jr. of Vineland, Steven (Holly) Tamburro of Milmay, Victoria Druziako, Gregory Capriotti, Stephanie Druziako, Gabriella Capriotti, and Gianna Capriotti, two great grandchildren, Dennis Tamburro III and Bella Tamburro as well as many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. Carol is predeceased by her brother Herbert Bylone. We want to extend our deepest gratitude to the Pennsylvania Hospital Critical Care Unit and the Medical-Surgical Team.
