Obituary of Isadore Edelstein

Isadore "Itz" Edelstein, 95, of Norma, New Jersey passed away on Monday, June 4, 2018. He was born October 18, 1922 to the late Esther and Samuel Edelstein in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and grew up and lived most of his life in Norma, New Jersey. He moved four years ago to Spring Oak Assisted Living in Vineland, New Jersey. Itz was a proud Veteran. He was a sergeant in the United States Army Air Forces and served in Saipan and Iwo Jima. Itz was a proud founding member of Norma-Alliance Volunteer Fire and Rescue. He worked at Food Fair, Farmer's Co Op, Berkowitz Feed and Mayerfeld Farms. He also worked as a security guard at various high school sporting events and at Cowtown Rodeo. Itz loved to ride his motorcycle and his boat in earlier years. He liked to watch car racing on tv and listen to his favorite country music. Itz was predeceased by his sisters and brothers, Mary Edelstein Schwartz, Rose Edelstein Levine, Stanley Edelstein, Herman Edelstein, Frances Edelstein Kurland, Edna Edelstein, Nathan Edell and his niece Edna Levine. He is survived by his nieces and nephews, Larry and Sue Edelstein, Beverly Rief, Hope and Larry Wescott, Scott and Sally Edelstein and Robin and Alan Frank. He is also survived by many great and great, great nieces and nephews.
