Obituary of Jacquelyn Nicosia

Jacquelyn (Janette) Nicosia, 70, of Vineland, passed away on May 9, 2018 at Cooper University Medical Center. She was born in Alexandria, Louisiana. Jacquelyn was one of the original coaches and organizers of the Vineland Girls Soccer Association, leading her team to win the championship, the first two years of the league. She was a very intelligent woman who enjoyed reading, cooking and spending time with her family. Jacque met and married her college sweetheart, Ronald, while attending Northwestern State University of Louisiana. They moved to Vineland in 1969 and together, raised four children.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Ronald Nicosia; daughter & son-in-law, Tanya & James Bruce; daughter & daughter-in-law, Ina & Bettina Nicosia-Schelker; daughter & son-in-law, Erin & Paul Vogler and her son, Alexander Nicosia; four grandchildren, Tara Bruce, Shannon Bruce, Isabella Vogler & Colton Vogler and her two sisters, Carol Jones & Sue Jordan. Jacquelyn was predeceased by her parents, Ina June & James Janette.

Services will be private, and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
