Obituary of Carmella Castelli

Carmella N. Castelli of Malaga, Franklin Twp. passed away and the home of her niece and under Hospice care. Born in Brooklyn New York to the late Constatino and Rosina ( ) Castelli moving to Station Island, and North Jersey, before moving to South Jersey. Carmella attended the Lake Road School in Franklin Township. She was employed most of her life for clothing factories in Vineland before her retirement from Levins Clothing factory. Carmella was also a member ot the Amalgamated Clothing Workers Union. After retiring Carmella volunteered at St. Mary's Church in Malaga, where she cleaned the church weekly with others. She was also in charge of bake sales, but her Jewish Apple Cake was always a winner. Carmell is survived by her niece Marlene of Malaga, nephews James and his wife Kathleen of Vineland, Deano Castelli of Wilmington Delaware, Joseph and his wife Patricia Castelli, of Chalfont, Pa., six great nieces and nephews, and ten great-great nieces and nephews. along with her mother and father, she is predeceased by her brother and his wife, Paul & Lucy Castelli Sr., brother and his wife Mike & Mary Castelli, nephew, Michael A. Castelli, and Paul Castelli Jr.
