Anna was a special friend. I love her and will miss her. My children and I loved visiting Sister Bellem. I have memories of attending church meetings, visiting other church sisters, lunch dates, pool dates, playing games, and just visiting while the children played. She crocheted an afghan for each of my children when they were born. She was such a wonderful hostess and treated me and my children with love, generosity, and kindness. She had such a wonderful attitude and carried herself with such dignity and grace even with her physical limitations. Anna was so proud of her family and loved any chance to be with them. We are so grateful for our memories with Sister Bellem and the blessing she was to our family. I look forward to giving her a hug again! Our thoughts and prayers are with her family that she loved so much.

As a volunteer at the Adult Care Center in Winchester it was my privilege to get to know Anna not only as a client there but as a real friend. She was always upbeat, had a smile on her face, enjoyed being at the center where she had made many friends, and was appreciative of everyone and everything we did there. I volunteer two days a week and on Tuesday I serve an English tea in the morning for those that would like to join me. I bring my English china tea sets, table cloths, and decorate the tables for the time of year or for stirring conversations about the participants lives and families. Anna loved it! She really enjoyed it when I brought special treats to mark the special holidays or centerpiece themes. She enjoyed good food, good company, and good conversation! She has been greatly missed the last few weeks and will be in the future. A lovely special woman with a heart for her family and others. I cherish the memories we made and shared together. My condolences to all the family and friends and thank you for sharing her with us at the Adult Care Center.
