Obituary of Jose Cortes Sr.

Jose "Tony" Cortes Sr., 69, of Philadelphia, passed away Sunday, April 29, 2007, in Vitas Hospice House in Philadelphia. Born in Utuado, Puerto Rico, he was a long time resident of Vineland before moving to Philadelphia 3o years ago. He was a presser for Newell Clothing Company of Vineland. Tony was an avid baseball fan and pool player who introduced the game of Snooker to the Vineland area. He was on the winning team of 8 ball leagues from 1965 to 1966 at Monte's Billards' of Vineland.
