Obituary of Bernard T Welcz

Bernard, 87, a longtime resident of Vineland, passed away on December 10, 2017 at Lincoln Specialty Care Center. Bernard was born in Reading, PA and graduated from Reading High School. He worked for Sears, Roebuck & Co. for 42 years, 22 years of which was spent as the Assistant Manager of the Vineland Sears store. While starting his career with Sears, Bernard also played in a Polka band named the "POLKADOTS." He was an avid golfer, a member of the Centerton Country Club, and enjoyed playing golf and vacationing with his wife and family in Hilton Head Island, SC. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Donna Lee Welcz; beloved sister in law, Mary Abraham Fenstermacher; son, Bernard M. Welcz and his partner Cindy Junker; daughter, Diane Welcz; son, Todd Welcz and his partner Gabriela Sikorski; three grandchildren, Philip Welcz, Brett Welcz, & John Richard Sheppard.
