Obituary of Samuel Wallace

Samuel H. Wallace, 82 a lifelong resident of Vineland passed away suddenly on Friday, December 8, 2017 at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland. He was born in Vineland to the late Thomas C. & Lillian {Bianchi} Wallace. Sam was a graduate of Vineland High School class of 1952 and was a member of Christ of Good Sheppard Parish, Church of Sacred Heart. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served from 1953-1957. At the conclusion of his military service he attended Cumberland County College, The University of Florida and Lincoln College Preparatory School in Philadelphia where he majored in Psychology and Business Administration. He received his Administration degree and upon graduation started his career in banking, first with The Tradesman Bank of Vineland, then he became Assistant Vice President of the Bank of New Jersey and later Vice President of Newfield National Bank. Prior to his retirement he was employed by Sun National Bank. During his retirement he decided to put his business skills to work taking a part time position as bookkeeper of Sir Speedy Printing in Vineland. Sam enjoyed gardening and was an avid baseball fan. He also enjoyed building and collecting miniature ships. His favorite enjoyment was caring for is beloved "Jack Russell Terrier" Tristee. In addition to his parents Sam was predeceased by his Brother Thomas C. Wallace of Vineland. He is survived by his Sister and Brother in Law Marie and Bill Cuniff of Vineland and many nieces and nephews. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
