I met Gus when he first started at Prudential.....I was one of his first policy holders. To this day, I still have my insurances with the Schiavo Agency and still get the same pleasant, thorough service from the rest of the family there... his legacy will carry on through them, his always relaxed, happy smile will remain in our memories for the rest of our lives and may be rest in peace at last. My condolences to everyone are too great to verbalize, as someone like Gus can't be described in words, you had to know him and then you understand.

It was 1981 and I was at my desk at the Prudential office on Landis Ave. and Gus walked up to me and said "Johnny, lets go have lunch across the street". I had known of Gus but never met him before. From that day forward until I left NJ we broke more bread together, laughed together and worked together. The Lord sent my wife and I back to NJ in 2007 and one of the first things I wanted to do was introduce my wife to Gus. We went to Stevie's office and was told we could find Gus across the street at the diner and there he was. That is the last time that I saw him. My heart is so sad right now. Gus took me under his wing and showed me what a heartfelt friendship is all about. Judy, Stevie and the family; I am without words; if I say I'm sorry, it's not enough. What I can say is may God wrap his loving arms around you and comfort you and we will continue to Pray that God will lead you through. I cannot call now; I am too emotional. God Bless you.

My sincere condolences to Judy and the entire Schiavo family. I knew Gus since he was a young boy. I coached him on the Foschi Artist Basketball Team in the Junior basketball League. He was a fine young boy to know and to coach and also to later know as a grown up young man. May his soul rest in peace.
