Thinking of you and missing you still everyday on your birthday May 1st. I have never seen this particular site before for some reason. And just now saw some of the people who left their condolences in sep of 2017. It made me miss you more. I’ll love you 2 forever. I love you both. Looking back I realize now what I wouldn’t do to go back to my younger yrs with you. Adulthood’s not all it’s cracked up to be. Mom you were the sweetest little soul. LS

I wanted to express my condolences when I read the sad news in the paper. I was away at the time of the services so I could not pay my respects to the family. I worked at Memorial School with Muriel and always enjoyed talking and sharing memories with her. She was always a genuine, loving person; it was a pleasure to have known her; I am glad that she was part of my life.

My sincere condolences to the Small Family~
I remember Mrs. (Muriel) Small from Home Ec classes at Landis Jr. High School in the late 70's. Her classes on cooking were memorable (scrambled eggs being my favorite :) ), as was she. I am sorry for your loss. She was a sweet lady.

Dear family,
As a first year teacher in 1980 at West Landis, Muriel took me under her wing and guided me along. Jake led my then fiancé to her 30 year career at the State School. They shared our wedding with us and although my time in Vineland was short, we were happy that we were able to stay in touch over the years. Muriel had a special way of raising the bar with students who otherwise would not have realized their own value. Her standards were high and she loved her kids who came around to realize that to be true. We were blessed to have known Muriel and Jake and we send our sincere condolences for your loss. Be blessed for the years you had them both.
With many fond memories,
Scott & Jennifer Hoffman
