Obituary of Irene Conte

Irene "Elena" ( DeNovellis ) Conte, 75, died quietly at home surrounded by her loving family members. Born in Caramanico, Italy, she was a Vineland resident since 1977 and later moved to Buena Vista Township. She was a homemaker who enjoyed doing things to make her family happy. Elena was a loyal, loving wife, a nurturing warm soul to her children and grandchildren. Her arms were always open and willing to embrace a sad heart. Throughout her life she endured many life- threating moments, yet she found the strength to start over each and every time. A smile and a loving word is what you would see and hear from Elena. She enjoyed her family, baking for family and friends, crocheting and enjoyed entertaining friends.The Lord has taken her. May He keep her close to Him. We will all miss you and love you always. Elena is survived by her husband of 53 years, Donato herdaughters and their husbands:Antoinette& Adriano Ricci of Vineland, Maria & Dennis Bracall of Milmay, brother Donato DeNovellis, Mineola, NY, sister Anna Conte of Mineola, NY, five granddhildren Marco, Remo and Oliva Ricci and Claudia and Gino Conte and one great-grandchild, Julia Faith Ricci.
