Obituary of Gerard P Tedesco
Gerard P. Tedesco, 66 of Vineland passed away unexpectedley on March 10, 2017 at Cooper University Medical Center, in Camden. He was born in Passaic, NJ to the late Jerry and Marie (Mangano) Tedesco and was a longtime Vineland resident. He graduated from Sacred Heart High School, class of 1968, and then attended Seton Hall University, graduating in 1972 with a Psychology Major. Jerry worked for 25 years as a electrician for Scott Paper/PGI in Landisville for 25 years and then as a electrician crew supervisor for Bayside State Prison in Leesburg, NJ until his retirement in November, 2015.
To Jerry, family was everythng. He adored his time with his loving wife Lorraine, his children, grandchildren, and extended family. Jerry was "one of a kind", with his humorous, selfless and generous personality. He loved the Peanuts comic strips and was an avid aficionado of "oldies" music and loved his NY Times crossword puzzles. During his retirement, Jerry enjoyed watching sports, especially his NY teams. Jerry's bigger-than-life personality followed him through life, making instant friends out of strangers wherever he went. Jerry we love you forever!
A celebration of Jerry's life wil be held at a future date.
