Obituary of Robert E. Gillespie Jr

Robert Gillespie, 56, passed away on March 5, 2017 at Inspira Health Network in Vineland, NJ. He was born on October 26, 1960 to Robert Gillespie Sr. and Gladys Gillespie. Robert graduated from Vineland High in 1978. After high school he played bass in a band and traveled to California. He then worked at the New Jersey Memorial Home where he met his future wife Maria Villanueva. They were married for 30 years. Robert was a member of the Voice of Deliverance New Covenant Church where he played in the band on Sundays. Robert enjoyed various hobbies to include collecting antique cars and making music with various instruments. Robert is survived by his wife Maria Gillespie, daughter Star Gillespie, son Carlos Arbelo, mother Gladys Gillespie, brother Larry Bostic, sisters Vanessa Thompson and Duralee Upshur. He also leaves behind 3 grandchildren, Alexsia Gillespie, Diego and Gianna Arbelo.
