Obituary of Kenneth C Harwas

Kenneth C. Harwas, 83, of Willow Grove passed away on Sunday February 19, 2017. He is survived by his children Charles Harwas (Solsive), Veronika Costa (George), Adele Harwas and Kenneth Harwas (Jennifer), his grandchildren Cadhla, Alyssa, Kenny and Jacob, his nieces and nephew June, Leo, Gail and Libby and former wife Marlene Harwas. He was predeceased by his parents Leo and Martha Harwas, his brother George Harwas, sister Gladys Castor, daughter Helen Horsey, niece Linda, nephew Glen, great niece Pam and fiance Patricia Serbeck. He served in the army as a sergeant from 1953-1955 and received the Korean Medal, the United Nations Service Medal and the National Defense Service Medal of honor upon his discharge. He was employed as a carpenter for the State of New Jersey at the Veterans Memorial Home for over twenty five years. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking and spending time with family and friends.
