Obituary of Victor Jose Colondres

Victor Colondres, 59, of Vineland passed away on August 11, 2010, at his home. He was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico on December 23, 1950 to Digna Montero Rosa and Victor Manuel Colondres. Victor enjoyed cooking and he also found great personal joy in helping others. He was an extremely devoted employee of Beth Israel Congregation, never missing a day of work. Victor was very skilled in many aspects of life. He took great pride in his knowledge of the Jewish traditions including its Holy Days and customs. He was truly a part of the Beth Israel Synagogue family. He is survived by his wife, Carmen Ocasio; daughter, Nereida Ruiz of Vineland; daughter, Ada Rodriguez of Vineland; daughter Tania Roman of Egg Harbor City; sons, Efrain Ocasio, Junior Ocasio, Jose Ocasio, and Juan Roman, all of Vineland, 22 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter Wanda Ocasio. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 13, 2010 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Beth Israel Synagogue with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 noon at Beth Israel Synagogue 1015 E. Park Avenue, Vineland, with Rev. Eusebio Serrano and concelebrating with Rabi Alfredo Winter and Rabbi Dr. Murray J. Kohn. Interment will follow in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland.
