Obituary of Joanne Maudine Ferrari

Joanne Maudine Ferrari, 75 of Vineland passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday after a short battle with ALS. Born in Vineland, Joanne was the daughter of Edward and Mildred Vastano. During her teens, she liked to hang out on the Avenue down to the circle with her friends. She attended Vineland High School and worked at Newberry's at a teen. She married her husband Louis in 1959 and ran the family farm with him for 52 years, until retirement. Joanne worked many hours in the field with her husband while taking care of her 3 children. She loved to babysit her great nephew and grandchildren, attend their school concerts and watch them play sports. Joanne loved to shop and take summer trips to Ocean City and Sea Isle. She also had many special memories of traveling while younger with cousins and friends. She was survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Louis and three children, daughter Lou Ann and son in law, Anthony, son Louis and son Michael and daughter in law, Paula. Four grandchildren, Catherine and Lucas Brooks and Giorgio and Augustus Ferrari. She is also survived by her loving sister and best friend, Judy Smaniotti and niece Lynn and husband, Joseph Hoban, great nephew Michael Hoban. She also survived many of her husband's first cousins that she thought of as family. Donations to Saint Mary School and Holy Redeemer
