Obituary of Robert W. Flowers

Robert W. Flowers, age 64, passed away in his home on Friday, December 2, 2016. He was born in Philadelphia, PA on September 23, 1952, to John and Genevieve Flowers. On June 28, 1980 he was married to Arlene Romeo Flowers. He worked at the Vineland Municipal Power Plant for over 40 years. He was the father to 4 children: Raquel Flowers, Nicole Provenzano (Joe), Brian Tarquinio (Wanda), and Scott Flowers (Cyndi); 7 grandchildren: Alexandra Cantoni, Adriana Provenzano, Angelina Cantoni, Lauren Provenzano, Joey Provenzano, Lucian Flowers, and Gwen Flowers; and 1 great-grandchild, Andre Cantoni. Robert proudly served his country in the Vietnam war until he was honorably discharged in June 1970. In his leisure time he enjoyed riding his Harley or playing with his grandchildren and cooking for his family. He participated actively in the DAV and American Legion.
