So sorry to hear of Gloria's passing. She was a fine person. I worked with her a long time ago at Stanley Brotman's office. More recently when I would see her at the courthouse, she was always very compassionate.

The Notos have been kind and lovely people, not only serving their community well, but very thoughtful and helpful to this minister, his family, and church. At the many special happenings, you would look up and there were usually two radiant smiles.
In government, Gloria was steady, caring, supportive, but also respected because she was not a pushover. The saying she was so dedication, that some thought she was always campaigning. One time when I had trouble with a passport and going overseas, she called me in the office, ran the front line in my behalf, and the next thing I knew, it came in the mail. Her generosity toward so many was very thoughtful.
Yes, we prayed many times together, joining our hearts in faith and believing - I believe there is a hope that only God provides.
Thank you Gloria - the Kenyon Family of the First Assembly of God

I was making a special effort to contact the family of Gloria to send my condolences, and to bring you some comfort from the scriptures which I found to be consoling with a wonderful hope for the future. Notice what it says in John 5:28, 29, "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out..." Also, Revelation 21:4 says, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." So this is very encouraging what God promises for the future, and in God's appointed time we will see the reality. Again, my condolences for your loss. Our most heart-felt condolence for your great loss. To those who really loved well, knew Gloria well and shared a lifetime with. To Gerald who was Gloria's love, partner, friend and more, may you find comfort and peace in the day's ahead in healing from this great loss of your lifetime companion and love, do know this- that Gloria will always be there by your side each day lighting your day with her continuous love and great spirit. Gloria will always be that light within each and everyone of her loved ones. Often time she had spoken about the meaning of family and a devoted spouse, and how she lived each new day to share time with them. Gloria loved her husband dearly and did everything to meet those family needs on a daily basis. I will miss her dearly as we often times shared our views on life through letter writing and those holiday greeting cards during all holidays. The one card that always came in the mail that Gerald also was aware of, was our wedding anniversary card from both. Gloria was the clergy-one that married us in 2004 and both Gerald and Gloria were an important-special part of our wedding day. I enjoyed her smile, her laughter, her spirit and great wisdom, and Gloria never allowed anything to get her down or anyone to change what she had in mind and at heart. A spiritual leader and lady with great inner light that would spark any room with her presence and charisma, she always knew what to say and do to make anyone feel a part of everything that was going on even at those Puerto Rican events she attempted to dance salsa, speak a little Spanish and simply blended in with all cultures and was always there to lend a helping hand, also in sharing a few words of her wisdom and perspectives on life and all. Gerald, Karen and family-friends, Gloria has completed her great mission on earth and for those years that she shared with everyone, she has left all many treasured and heart-felt, light within each person she loved; she has simply stepped into another room and her spirit and light will remain with each of us forever-more, Gloria has completed her mission well, and as Mike Baruzza once said to me at Barse School-"She has done good"! Her many gifts, her treasures on valuing people, believing in oneself and those things one needs to do for the common cause, are great gifts-to cherish and reflect upon as we hold on to those memories and moments shared with her. Words and more inspirational thoughts on Gloria are beyond speaking about them, those things we shared with Gloria and experiences encountered with her are beyond words yet, held close and dear to ones heart & spirit. May she rest and be at peace knowing that her Gerald and loved one's will be led by God's holy grace and spirit during this healing process for all, and knowing that she has returned home to her creator and surrounded and taken care of by those celestial angels of his court in Heaven. May you "Gerald" and loved ones find peace, light and understanding in the days ahead, reflect on those treasured moments with Gloria, keep-call out her name in all of your conversations, she will always be that part of you within. Live life well, love well, do for others and give the best of yourselves, as Gloria always did-unselfishly for others and those she loved well. Peace and Light, healing in the days ahead.
