What an inspiration! I feel truly blessed to have known Dot. She always had a smile for me and was such a positive person. May she rest in peace. Wishing her family God's strength, love, and peace as you go through this sorrowful time.
Love and prayers,

I was making a special effort to contact the family of Dot to send my condolences, and to bring you some comfort from the scriptures which I found to be consoling with a wonderful hope for the future. Notice what it says in John 5:28, 29, "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out...." Also, Revelation 21:4 says, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." So this is very encouraging what God promises for the future, and in God's appointed time we will see the reality. Again, my condolences for your loss. Please visit the jw.org website for answers to many Bible questions.

My sister Joan (who passed away 12 years ago), myself and my 4 year old son Ben visited the Emeigh family back in about 1998 I think. Aunt Dot was driving her car and we were following in ours. It was dark and our headlights were shining in her car. When Aunt Dot looked in her rearview mirror we could see the reflection of our headlights on her glasses. My son Ben saw this and asked if that's why we called her Aunt "Dots". Since then, every xmas card was signed, Love, Aunt Dots. She was a beautiful lady with a wonderful sense of humor. I spoke to her this past summer and she helped me get thru my own bout of breast cancer with her courage and compassion. I wish I had been able to visit her again before she passed on. She will be greatly missed.

Chuck and Jim, so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She was a great lady and taken far too soon from this earth. She will be missed. Thoughts and prayers and with you all.

Aunt Dot was my very first friend 44 years ago when I was a child. She spent time hanging out with me and mom and playing with me. She was so much fun! She would come visit us in central PA and I really regret never coming to New Jersey. I'll always have a special place in my heart for her until we can meet again.
