We are deeply sorry to hear about the death of your loved one. The Bible assures us of “everlasting life at John 17:3. Our very hope of living forever is contingent on our growing in knowledge of Jehovah God and his Son, Jesus Christ. According to the Bible, the Creator will soon transform the earth into a literal paradise, which will favor long life & reunite us with our dead loved ones (Psalms 37:10, 11, John 5:28,29). Then you, along with millions of others, can live forever in Paradise on earth. What a beautiful time that will be!

My memories of Sister Joan are that of how well she listened. She was always ready with a listening ear and heart. She always had a ready smile on her face ~ even amid suffering and pain. Our loss is heaven's gain. I extend my deepest sympathy to her extended family members as well as to her religious family members, the Daughters of Our Lady of Mercy, Newfield, NJ.

Sister Joan and I worked together at OLMA for 17 years. Her death comes as a real shocker! Since 2002--when I, too, left OLMA--she always kept in touch with me via e-mail and Christmas cards. In fact, her Christmas card was always one of the first we would receive. I will remember her radiant smile and her fierce disciplinary actions with the students. We dubbed her: "the general". Her bark, however, was bigger than her bite, for she loved the girls dearly. My prayers are with you, her natural relatives, and you, her church family. I am assured we will see her again. To the family, I am so sorry for your loss. I had the privilege of being a student of Sister Joan's at OLMA. I was terrible at math and she never, ever gave up on me and never allowed me to give up. I know she is sweetly singing with the angels now. Thank you, Sister Joan. Lisa Myers, Class of 1987

We met Sister Joan when our. Daughter started at the Academy. We got to know her better through the RFO (Rosellian Family). She was a beautiful lady, inside and out, with the voice of an angel. I'm sure she's leading the choir of era l angels now. Peace be with you always. Marge and Joe Biegalski
