Obituary of Vincent Joseph Forcinito
Vincent J. Forcinito, lifelong resident of Vineland, son of the late James and Emily (DePasquale) Forcinito, passed away on Sunday November 15, 2015 at the age of 79. He was a Korean War Era veteran who served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the local VFW. He was the owner of a Western Auto Supply Store and worked as a mechanic for Armellini Express Lines. In his retirement, he was a crossing guard for 13 years and was stationed at the Sacred Heart School. Vincent had a passion for classic cars and enjoyed attending car shows in his spare time. He loved early western movies, and in his youth spent many a Saturday in the theaters. He enjoyed music, and listening to Caruso records was one of his favorite pastimes. He was an avid reader who liked to read books on early movies, movie stars and military history.
Vincent's greatest love was his family. He was a devoted husband and loving father who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Tommasa (Rizzo), and his beloved children, Vincent Forcinito and wife Lynn, and David Forcinito and wife Jean; beloved grandchildren, Kyle, Ashley, David , and Daniel; brothers, Peter Forcinito (Rose), the late Michael Forcinito (Sue); and many nieces , nephews, and cousins.
