Obituary of William Lynch
William "Bill" J. Lynch, 76, of Clayton, started his final "over the road" trip to his savior on November 2, 2015 surrounded by his family. Bill was raised in Moorestown and attended Moorestown Public School. He served in the US Air Force. For most of his life Bill was an exceptional truck driver having been employed by Burcham Trucking, Reginak, Lee Transport, Strauss Tires and Gold Bond. he also worked for TastyKake in Philadelphia at night for a brief period. At the time of his retirement in 1999 he drove a concrete mixer for Penn Jersey Concrete (formerly Eastern Transit) in Pitman. he was not afraid to tackle any job and was "Johnny on the spot" for all his family and friends who needed his help. Although he did not receive formal training, his knowledge of electric, plumbing, carpentry and most of all, mechanics, was extensive. Up until four years ago, he was an avid camper. He loved Harley Davidson motorcycles, enjoyed bowling, playing horseshoes, passed the time doing search-a-word puzzles, listening to country western music, a well played football game and watching reruns of Gunsmoke and other western TV shows, Bill especially loved his wife's Lasagna and a really good prime rib steak dinner with real mashed potatoes.
Bill was a loving husband to his wife, Dolores (Ieropoli) Lynch to whom he was married 49 years and a proud father to his children, Kelly Gannelli of Spotstown, NJ, Kathie Lynch of Clayton, Sandra Tordella of New Castle, DE, Janine Hahn of Leighton, PA, Louanne Miller of South Hampton, NJ, Carol Woods and Virginia Gambel both of Orlando, FL.
