Obituary of Frank J. Cerione

Frank J. Cerione 77 of Vineland died Tuesday April 1, 2008 in South Jersey Regional Medical Center. Born in Vineland to the late Anthony and Mamie (Mastro) Cerione where he remained a life long resident. A graduate of Vineland High School with the class of 1949, Frank served as class Vice President. A Star football player for Vineland High School he played the position of Right Guard and other positions. A member of Sacred Heart Church and the St. Barbara's Chapel. Frank served as President of S.J.R.C. Society model airplane club. A self employed Architectual Draftman for FJC Construction in Vineland before many years before his retirement. He designed many homes and businesses in Vineland and also instramental in developing the Vineland Speedway in the late 50s. Prior to owning his own business, Frank worked in Philadelphia for several large name Architectual firms where he worked on projects such as Hospitals and other institutions. Frank loved antique collecting especially, collectables such as miniature glass. His hobbies enclude bowling radio controlled airplanes and had a passion for WW II history. Frank treasured his family and friends and loved spending time with his Children, Grand and Great Grandchildren.
