Obituary of Roslyn "Sis" Herron

Roslyn Pogust Herron April 1, 1926 - June 7, 2015 Roslyn "Sis" Herron died peacefully at her Vineland home June 7th. Born and raised in Vineland, her passion was her family. Daughter of the late Harry & Jean Pogust, wife of the late Dr. Howard Mennies Herron, Sis is survived by three children - Robert Mennies Herron, Boston-MA, Marcy Hammerschlag (Michael Cyter) , Sutton-NH & Michael (Mick) Pogust Herron, Bourne-MA, five grand-children - Jessie Herron-D'Ambrosi (Andrew), Brooklyn, NY., Lee Michael Herron (Olivia), Brooklyn, NY., James Howard Herron (Arie), Brooklyn, NY., Neal Aron Hammerschlag (Jill), Radner, PA, Lauren Rachel Erbacher (Paul), Egg Harbor City,NJ.,and five great grandchildren. Sis was pre-deceased by her sister Marion Stone and brother Dr. H. Norman (Buddy) Pogust. Also surviving is her loving companion Mr. Kurt Kaufmann, Salem. She was a member of the Beth Israel Congregation and Hadassah, Hebrew Benevolent, and Jewish Federation The Herron family extends sincere thanks to NJCC Hospice for their caring assistance. Park Ave, Vineland, NJ on Monday, June 8th, 2:00 PM to be followed by internment at Alliance Cemetery, Gershal Ave., Norma, NJ.
