Obituary of Joan T Hill

Joan Hill (nee Calabrese), 87, of Vineland passed away, on May 12, 2015 at Bishop McCarthy where she was a resident for the past two years. She was born on June 7, 1928 to the late Salvatore and Anna (Barra) Calabrese, in Vineland, where she was a lifelong resident. Over the years, she worked at Sears, Tursini Clothing, and Vineland Produce Auction. Upon her retirement, she owned and operated the Candy and Nut Hut in the Cumberland Mall for many years. Joan enjoyed playing Pinochle, Rummy, and Scrabble. She was an avid reader. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband James (Jimmy) Hill, two brothers Alex Calabrese and John Calabrese and one sister Helen Crescitelli. She is survived by 3 sons; James Hill, Dennis Hill (Lorraine), and John Hill; one daughter Patricia Bianco (Justin); 8 grandchildren: Lisa Botsford (Erin); James A. Hill; Jeffrey Hill (Nissa Lee); Tim Hill (Carol); Paul Bianco (Rebecca); Felicia Fiocchi (Lee); Justin Bianco (Kara); Jason Hill; 9 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
