I was making a special effort to contact the family of Dominick to send my condolences, and to bring you some comfort from the scriptures which I found to be consoling with a wonderful hope for the future. Notice what it says in John 5:28, 29: "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out...." Also, Revelation 21:4 says, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." So this is very encouraging what God promises for the future, and in God's appointed time we will see the reality. Again, my condolences for your loss. Please check out the jw.org web site for answers to many Bible questions.

I was saddened to hear of Dom's passing. My family lived directly across the street from Dom for over 30 years. As the youngest in my family, I grew up always seeing my dad talking with him out by our mailbox. I remember them laughing and joking and talking about all kinds of things. Dom was such a nice man, and he was always so kind. As I got older, I would see Dom at the Flea Market, various yard sales, or in different stores. He always would smile and stop to say hello. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends, and I thank Dom for the nice childhood memories.
