The "Bernster" was a true dapper, gentle, man, except when I wore my Phillies hat. I will dearly miss seeing him in the lobby. When I rode my bike he always asked me how far I'd gone and then tell me to be careful out there. He loved our cats and they would wander down to his door and sit.
Play ball, Bernie and beat Beantown! You'll be remembered fondly.
