Obituary of Max M. Friedman
Max Friedman - 86 a man like no other; died March 27, 2015. Loving husband of Molly Friedman for 66 years passed away in Vineland, New Jersey, a place he served in the community as a member of several key organizations including the road department and the zoning board. Prior to his time in Vineland Max fought as a freedom fighter for Israeli independence in several historic battles for his country. Max is survived by his wife Molly three children and five grandchildren. Max loved his country and community and spent countless times helping people in both. In his retirement years he reveled in the stories of the old days, discussing his time at John's Bargain Store, the army, the road department and zoning board with life long friends such as Gloria Noto. He will be missed dearly by his family, friends, and all those he touched and helped.
A visitation will be held on Thursday April 2, 2015 from 3:30 to 4 pm followed by a memorial service at 4 pm at the Rone Funeral Service. In accordance with jewish law and to honor the Sabbath full graveside services were held in Alliance Cemetery on Friday March 27, 2015.
