Obituary of Rose Rosa

Rose (Merlock) Rosa, 98, passed away on February 14, 2015 in Spokane, WA. Rose was born April 4, 1916 to Philip and Amelia Merlock in Dorothy, NJ. On June 27, 1937 she married Amerigo Rosa, and moved to Vineland where they farmed and raised their family. Rose went to work for Maul Technologies in 1969 until her retirement in 1984. For the past ten years Rose lived with her sons in Salt Lake City, UT and Spokane, WA but her heart never left New Jersey. Rose's greatest joys were her family and her home. Surviving are her sons, Philip (Janet) Rosa, Spokane, WA, Joseph (Dawn) Rosa, Spokane, WA, seven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Philip and Amelia Merlock, her husband Amerigo Rosa, and all of her twelve siblings; Nicholas, Frank, Dorothy, Anthony, Mary, Katherine, Charles, Amelia, Philip, John, Frances and Joseph.
