Obituary of Geoffrey W. Warren

Geoffrey W. Warren, 72, of Vineland, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 18, after a brief illness. Born in Pleasantville, he moved to Vineland at the age of 6. Before beginning his career in law enforcement, he worked with his father in the Pepsi-Cola distribution center in Vineland. Geoff began his career in law enforcement as a member of the Buena Borough Police Department. He subsequently joined the Vineland Police Department where he rose through the ranks before retiring in 1983. He was also a member of the FOP. His duties ranged from patrol, SIU Narcotics detective, as well as Firearm Instructor. Following his retirement from law enforcement, Geoff transitioned to the private sector as Vice-President of Operations for the Vineland Group, Inc. Retiring from this position in 2006, Geoff devoted himself to his beloved wife, children and grandchildren, especially his "best boy" Matthew, and loved going to Matthew's baseball games. He could almost always be found babysitting his grandchildren. He also enjoyed going out to dinner, fishing on his boat and cheering on his beloved Eagles and Phillies. One of his greatest joys in life was spending time at his condo in Ocean City
