Obituary of Eleanor E. Donoflio

E. Elizabeth (Veltman) Donoflio, 79, of Vineland, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2015 at Inspira Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born in Millville New Jersey to the late Harry Joseph and Maude (Eames) Brett. In her early twenties, Elizabeth overcame many serious medical conditions and went on to become a loving, devoted mother raising her two children and having a successful career. After 30 years, she retired from the Vineland Developmental Center where she worked in Human Resources. She was a selfless person known for her kind, caring nature and generous personality. She was a devout Christian and devoted to her church. She enjoyed music, reading and keeping up with current events. She and her husband enjoyed working in their vegetable garden taking special pride in their strawberry patch. She was a collector of cardinal and wolf figurines. She enjoyed spending time with her family and is survived by her husband, Ronald F. Donoflio Sr., her siblings, Matthew Brett, Claude Brett Flora Pettit, her daughter, Sandra Veltman, her son, Steven Veltman (Terri), daughters Julieanne Donoflio and Laurel Bergamo (G. Bryan), son, Ronald F. Donoflio Jr. (June), daughter-in-law Ann, grandchildren Jason Vinzinski (Heather), Megan Jacobson (Dan), Robert Veltman, Ryan Veltman, Lauren Bergamo, Andrew Bergamo, Steven Bergamo, Carlyn Donoflio, Brianna McCuen (Rob), Alexis Pyszka (Doug), Barbara Passio (Nicholas), Christina Spiro (Joseph), twelve great grandchildren, and and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Leroy Brett, Paul Brett, Wilbert Brett and son, Rickey P. Donoflio. A Church Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 from 9:15am to 10:15am followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at Christ The Good Shepherd Parish - Church Of Saint Isidore The Farmer, 1655 Magnolia Road, Vineland, NJ.
