Dear Brian: I'm so sorry for your loss. I remember you dad as a sweet gentleman. Whenever one of your classmates went into the jewelry store, all we had to do was mention that we knew you, and he would give us discount. Such a kind, congenial man. Please know you and yours are in our prayers.

I was making a special effort to contact the family and friends of Edwin to send my condolences, and to bring you some comfort from the scriptures which I found to be consoling with a wonderful hope for the future. Notice what it says in John 5:28, 29: "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out..." Also Rev. 21:4 states: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." So this is very encouraging what God promises for the future, and in God's appointed time we will see the reality. Again, my condolences for your loss.
