Obituary of Mary Vai

Mary Vai, 92, of Buena, NJ, passed away on December 1, 2014 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. She was born in Minotola to the late William & Josephine (Gruccio) Paris. She attended elementary school in Landisville and graduated from Vineland High School. Mary worked as a sewing machine operator for South Jersey Clothing Co. and Hover's Clothing Co. for many years. Mary enjoyed reading, baking pies, cakes, Christmas cookies and her homemade pasta. She also loved having coffee with her friends. Mary was a member of Our Lady of Victories Church, V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary and the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. Mary will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her son & daughter-in-law Alan & Phyllis (Levato) Vai, grandchildren; Quinto, Sophia & Albert, great-grandchildren; Daisy, Deja, Aden & Donato Vai, brother; Domenick Paris, brother-in-law & sisters-in-law; Jules & Clara Sbrana and Anna Vai, and also many nieces, nephews, cousins & close friends. Mary was predeceased by her husband Quinto Vai, sister Nancy and her brothers; Carmen, Wilbur and Frank. A Funeral Home Visitation will be on Friday evening, December 5, 2014 from 6pm to 8pm at Rone Funeral Service and a Church Visitation on Saturday morning, December 6, 2014 from 9:45am to 10:45am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at Our Lady of The Blessed Sacrament - Church Of St. Michael, 504 West Avenue, Minotola, NJ.
