Obituary of Angela Leo

Angela (Gigliotti) Leo, 88, of Malaga passed away at home on November 1, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She resided in Malaga since 1958. Angela was born in Serrastreeta, Italy in 1926 to the late Francesco and Carolina (Aiello) Gigliotti. She worked for many years as a seamstress but was a homemaker at heart. She loved to cook especially for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her son Anthony Leo, daughter & son-in-law Antoinette & Santo John Maccherone, grandsons & their wives; Russell & Jackie, Tony & Colleen, John & Megan, granddaughter & her husband Stephanie & Andrew, and granddaughters, Lauren & Caroline, six great-grandchildren; Anna Marie, Megan, Gina, Rocco, Rosario & Anthony and her brother Vincenzo Gigliotti of Bologna, Italy. Angela was predeceased by her husband Rosario "Russell" Leo, parents Francesco & Carolina (Aiello) Gigliotti, and her sister Cristina Gigliotti A church visitation will be on Thursday, November 6 from 9am to 11:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12pm at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament- Church of St. Mary's, 253 Old Dutch Mill Road, Malaga, NJ.
