Obituary of Leandro Agosto Lopez

Leandro "Lenny" Agosto Lopez, 75, of Vineland passed away at home on October 19, 2014. He was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico to the late Agosto Lopez and Paulita Ortega. A classically trained musician, Leandro performed with Latin bands during the 1960's. He also worked for the New Jersey Department of Transportation for many years, later he owned and operated food stores in Perth Amboy and Vineland. A US Army Veteran Lenny served in Germany during the Cold War. He is survived by his wife of 42 years Elsa Montiel Lopez, son Dr. Lenny Lopez, daughter Dr. Madeleine Lopez, son-in-law Dr. Chad Williams, grandchildren Gabriel & Michael, brother Jose A. Lopez and father-in-law Guadalupe Montiel. A Funeral Home Visitation will be on Thursday, October 23 from 4pm to 5pm followed by a Funeral Service at 5pm from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ. Burial will be on Friday, October 24, 2014 at National Cemetery - Washington Crossing, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA.
