Obituary of Mary M Hunter

Mary Zitto Hunter, 91, passed away on Monday July 7th at Inspira Hospital in Vineland. Mary was born in Vineland on October 18, 1922 to the late Nicholas and Carmella Zitto. Mary worked for various clothing factories in the area for over a 40 year period. Upon her retirement, she enjoyed traveling and cooking for family and friends. She was well loved and will be deeply missed by all who came in contact with her. In her earlier years, she was characterized as a strong woman who enjoyed dancing, horse racing, and boating. Her biggest joys were spending time with her grandchildren and trips to the casino. She is survived by her son Norman Sterchele and daughter-in-law Patricia, her son Kevin Sterchele and daughter-in-law Sandra, 4 grandchildren Joseph Sterchele (deceased), Richard Sterchele and wife Amy of Elkridge MD, Heather (Sterchele) Dandrea and husband Jason of Coatesville PA, Nicholas Sterchele and wife Amanda of Vineland NJ, 3 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband William Hunter, brothers Angelo, Anthony, James, and Frank Zitto, and sisters Rose Janetta and Angie Janetta. Donations can be made in Mary's memory to Inspira Hospice at Inspira Hospital in Vineland or the American Diabetes Association.
