Obituary of Casimiro "Cosmo" Rosenti

"Cosmo" Casimiro Rosenti, 92, of Newfield passed away peacefully on June 29, 2014. Cosmo was born in 1922 in Rosenhayn, NJ. He was the youngest son of Italian immigrants, Casimiro and Rosalia (Monte) Rosenti. Cosmo was employed at Kontes Glass for thirty-nine years, but was a farmer at heart, and especially enjoyed gardening. He was a wonderful gentleman with a terrific sense of humor throughout his entire life. He is survived by his sister Josephine Esposito, many nieces and nephews of the Rosenti and Russo families and special friend Dottie. Cosmo was predeceased by his beloved wife, Mildred (Russo); sisters, Catherine Rodano and Theresa Hanselmann; brothers, Thomas, Louis and Joseph Rosenti. A Church Visitation will be on Thursday, July 3 from 10:30am to 11:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am at Our Lady Of The Blessed Sacrament - Church Of Saint Rose Of Lima, 104 Catawba Avenue, Newfield, NJ. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Newfield, NJ.
