Obituary of Robert R. Franks

Robert R. Franks, 66 of Vineland passed away Thursday evening at home with his family at his side. He was the son of the late Raymond and Mary Franks. Robert graduated from Vineland High School in 1966 and received his bachelor's degree from Villanova University in 1970. He married Sharon Graiff in 1971 and they resided in either Vineland or Wildwood Crest for the last 43 years. Robert worked in the transportation management industry and was employed by Delaware Valley Floral Group at the time of his passing. Previously, along with his wife and parents, he ran a popular Italian restaurant in Wildwood Crest. A family man, Robert enjoyed spending time with his loved ones, especially his grandsons and new granddaughter. he loved golfing and playing poker with his friends. Robert was a lifelong, dedicated Eagles, Phillies and Flyers fan and rarely missed a game (from his favorite recliner). In addition to his wife of 43 years, he is survived by his sister: Kathy Allen of Berlin, NJ; daughter and son-in-law: Amy and Frank Calamari of West Norriton, PA; as well as his son and daughter-in-law: Bryan and Robin Franks of Orlando, FL. Robert is also survived by his three grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
